Wow

I have no posted 500 times on this blog. That's amazing. Holy cow.

A huge thank you to everyone who's stuck with me through hiatuses and messy cuticles, you all are the best.

I feel like I'm too boring today for this milestone, but I didn't want to skip posting this manicure. It's Butter London Pillar Box Red, which is a pretty straight up (though absolutely gorgeous) red creme.

I'm including a whole-hand shot because I really like this red with my ring and bracelet today. The car was parked at the time of the picture, so no worries there ;)

(does anyone still read this?)

College is busier than I ever thought. College is more caffeinated than I ever thought.

Here's some mani spam from from my phone. They're all pretty old and I can only kind of provide accuracy with polish information.

I'll do better in the future, maybe.

All done with acrylic paint on polish.

One of my own PAINTS by Allya polishes over a random light blue.
A horrifically inaccurate picture of China Glaze Flip-flop Fantasy

Sally Hansen's Tweedy. Three coats. I love it.
Butter London Wallis with Sephora by OPI goldleaf topcoat

A sunset as seen from the bay at my school. No filter or editing, it seriously looked like this.

I swear I'm alive

Well, college started. And I moved across the country via road trip. And I'm taking a full load of classes, have a student government position, am in several clubs, and write for the school paper....

In other words, time is hard to come by but I will try to start finding some for polish/polish blogging.

This is Essie Demure Vixen with Butter London A Tart with a Heart (the combination of names made me laugh).

Anyway, I got a new computer and so I don't have photoshop yet (or know how to watermark?), so forgive the unedited picture.

I'll try to post more in the future!

Seriously Disturbed (with my own habits)

I hadn't worn MAC Seriously Hip since purchasing it over a year ago. That really bothered me (my consumerism is starting to do that, but we'll save that for another post), so I decided to finally get some use out of it. I wore it for a few days plain and then layered Butter London's A Tart With a Heart on top for the easiest galaxy nails you ever did see. Love the final result- hate the final pricetag.

I really should do a post on the consumerism that runs rampant in the polish community and how that's affected me, a student. But I wouldn't want to bore you all to tears. Hmmm.

Butter London No More Waity Kaitie redux

Well, I swatched this once before, but thought it could use a better picture. It's such a pretty polish, a murky base and bright lavender glitter.

Anyway, if you haven't entered my giveaway yet, do that. And if you haven't checked out my Etsy yet, do that. I'll have some new polishes in stock soon enough, included some GLITTER :D

Butter London

I bought these last Tuesday when Ulta was selling Butter Londons for buy one, get one free. I used my $3.50 off $10 purchase and so these totaled $10.50, or $5.25 a piece. For polishes that retail for $14, that's a steal! Love 'em both, too. Victoriana is the perfect moody teal and No More Waity, Katie is STUNNING. Elegant and modern and so darn pretty.
