Some sparkle

Sephora Galaxy was really, really pretty in the bottle. On the nail, less so. This is the kind of texture that just won't quit, not even after four coats of topcoat! 

So, yeah. Not my cup of tea exactly, but alright for a day.

 Now THIS is what I'm talking about. Lacquistry Amazeballs is a stunner. You can spot a bit of grow-out (eek) because this is day #3 on my nails, but look at how well it's worn!

Yum. Assorted Sinful Colors!

The picture on Island Coral looks weird, but that was all in an effort to get the darn color of the polish accurate. I think I succeeded.

Calypso is super gorgeous and I love it.

Sweet Tooth is a red-leaning light purple with a hint of shimmer and I love it for spring.

Overall, my pictures have weird lighting because all the colors were being difficult to photograph. Still, A+ for Sinful Colors, these polishes are great!

Easy Galaxy Nails

Wet 'n' Wild Morbid coupled with this pretty flakie make for nails that could be otherworldly- no? Significantly less of a hassle than either galaxy nails method (see one here) and stunning in its own right.

My Soul-Mani

I used Asami's basic idea but with different polishes and achieved a really different result.
I used OPI Russian Navy for a base color then I dabbed on with a barely wet brush (not in this order, sorry, I didn't take notes while painting)

*A random Japanese sheer polish with shimmer
The pictures don't do this justice at all, in real life it has depth and shimmer of all colors with just a twinkle of holo. The pictures make it look flat, trust me, it's much better in real life. I'll take more pictures in the morning when it's sunny, okay?
And I know that this is a lot of pics (11!) but I really want to show you as much as possible so maybe you can comprehend this gorgeousness.

What I'm wearing

Zoya sparkle skittles, but y'all have seen those before. I'm going to camp today (it's just a day camp, so I will be posting throughout the week) and I wanted something that the little kids would enjoy.

Here's SH Blue It with konaded Millennium stars. This was (shockingly) not my 4th of July mani. I actually did this months ago XD



And here's Zoya Suvi. I hate this color. It's just icky to me, in the bottle and on the nail. This is my first time wearing it since buying it last year. I want to love it, it's a deep green shimmer, but it's blackened and greyed out and just... Blegh. I don't recommend this one.

From dark to light

My favorite nail color (long before I became a collector and blogger) was navy. I just adored it. Recently, I bought this navy (OPI Russian Navy). I love this even more because it has some slight pink shimmer that gives it a little interest. Now, I just need to find a navy creme (preferably a jelly) and my navy collection will be complete.

Some nail art I wore today, I frankened the base, and the branches are ChG Unplugged. I used silver bullions for the centers of the flowers.

Water Marble week (I fail!)

Well... So much for that. The water marble fairy left me last night. Yeah. No. Not working. Well, OPI Here Today, Argon Tomorrow + CG Medallion made for a satisfied Allya. Well. Then. Then my Nfu Ohs came (oh? I didn't mention those? Well, I bought 51, 54, and 60). I couldn't resist. Forgive me? Here's my NOTD well as failures of pics for tomorrow.

51. I love this. Not in the bottle so much, but on the nail? SO yummy! Could we pretend this is purple? Cause it really is in real life!!! (layered over SH Purple Pizzazz)

Maybelline Pie in the Sky





The Maybellines are from the new spring collection. They are bright pastels (OXYMORON!). Okay, they are bright colors with white and a tough of grey in them. Better? I will be wearing Sweet Clementine today because it looks puuuuuuudddy (don't judge me XD). Pie in the Sky was similar to Zoya Yummy, I'll give ya'll a comparison soon. Punk is so pretty in the bottle, but less pretty on the nail. It just turns to a navy shimmer :(. Oh and, Helene drew on my hand. It's a marionette, Ballerina, and Speaker System. I have no idea why XD
