Born Pretty store "Nail Patch" review

When these arrived in my mail box, there was a lot of squealing. A lot of jumping up and down and staring in awe. And then a lot of waiting.

I recently went to New York for ten days, and, prior to receiving these, decided that that was when I'd wear them. The packaging promises me eleven days of wear, and the design promises gorgeousness. It was a match made in heaven, right?

Sadly, wrong.

These wouldn't apply flat. The edges wouldn't stay down and they annoyed me every moment until I took them off, one hour later. I think, though, it was my application, not the product. I've never used this kind of sticker before from any manufacturer, and the nails applied latest did the best. The good news is, I was able to use only half a sticker per a nail, so I have enough for another manicure!

I'll be giving them another chance, the design's too pretty not to.

Products in this post were sent to me for review. That did not change my opinion of them or influence my review.

Dannii

What a lovely polish. Really, stunning. Purple with that awesome gold shimmer that Zoya does so well... Microflakies? Just about, I think. The shimmer's large and irregular.

My Illamasqua polishes

which I've had for forever, but never took great pictures of. I hauled both Muse and Rampage at the same time, actually, and that time was over a year ago. Haven't worn them since, which is a travesty as they are obviously gorgeous.

Some Rescue Beauty Lounge Spam

I swatched my full collection of RBLs recently as "Rescue Beauty Lounge" seems to be the highest search that brings people to my blog! Yes, I just found the Stats page. Anywho, here's all my RBLs. I adore them all. Mismas is not pictured because she hates my camera.

Milani sent these to me for review, this did not change my opinion of the product at all.

Two cheap thrills

Essence polishes, a steal at one dollar a piece.
The holo is Can't Cheat on Me, a sheer silver that has scattered holo akin to the Kaleidoscopes from China Glaze. Adore.
The other is Irreplaceable. Really, really pretty.

My Precious

Please excuse Oliver's hair on my nails. Don't know how it got there.

Chanel Graphite.
Hurry to stores and snatch this and Peridot up. Seriously, otherwise you'll regret it and Chanel regret ain't cheap.

Flowers

Bad lighting, I know, but none of the other pictures turned out. Just my standard quick floral manicure.
The glitter is Milani, one of the One Coat Glitters. Then OPI No Room For the Blues and some Sinful Colors white (Snow White?)

One of the wonderful things about blogging

is the friends you make.
I've met SO many people through this blog and MUA. It's even better, I feel, because I am a teen. Teenagers are vicious and sometimes I feel attacked for having polish as a hobby, but people who love polish understand and are supportive when I need it and hilarious always.
Valerie is another polish-loving teen. I found her through MUA and, though we live pretty close, we've never met. Still, I enjoy talking to her about polish and school and everything else that fills a teenager's head.
Anywho, recently she began blogging. And when I say recently, I don't really mean that, I've just neglected to feature her thus far (SORRY!). She's reached the milestone of 70 followers and is having a giveaway of Island Girl polishes, which aren't available in many places. How cool is that?!
Check her out, and more because she's an incredible person with pretty nails rather than because you could possibly win free polish (though that's a pretty good incentive).
