I swatched my full collection of RBLs recently as "Rescue Beauty Lounge" seems to be the highest search that brings people to my blog! Yes, I just found the Stats page. Anywho, here's all my RBLs. I adore them all. Mismas is not pictured because she hates my camera.

RBL Yellow Fever

LOVE this. The shimmer is so perfectly summery and the color is perfection. So many compliments throughout the day.

Also, first non-nail art-y post in a while. What do y'all think, should I show more plain swatches?

I have quite a few more (ummmmm 20ish total) but I only have five fingers :)
NB and RN are close, both blackened with shimmer, but RN has some red shimmer and is slightly lighter.
BM Navy and NYC Navy are both bluer rather than blacker but NYC has some brush strokes, a problem BM Navy doesn't have.
Under the Stars is unique, it's teal-er with light blue glitter.



I can justify owning all of these. They all have slight differences that make them unique. However, if you're not a navy person (though you should be, it's an awesome, different vampy to be sporting) you need only two or three, a blackened one, a bluer one, and RBL UtS, because glitter is really cool. My choices would be tied for blackened, they're both gorgeous (see, I'm hopeless), BM Navy for bluer, and, of course, UtS for the category that only has UtS.

Lastly, you want to see something impressive? Look at that gap....

Beautiful, right? Well, I do NO clean-up. Nothing. No brush dipped in a bottle of acetone, no softening the skin with lotion. NOTHING. A year and a half of practice is finally paying off, eh?

The silver is LA Colors Art Deco.
Basically, these are AWESOME in real life.

The mints, pinky to index:
Miki Mini (unnamed), Essie MCA, SH Mint Sorbet, Maybelline Minty


Minty is significantly darker than the rest, MCA is bluer, Mint Sorbet is the most yellow based green.

My RBLs from the sale! In case you live under a rock, a little while ago Rescue Beauty Lounge (aka the best brand ever) had a 50% off sale. 50% off their $18 polishes. Yeah, it's still pricey, but the formula and the colors *le sigh*, all worth it.
So here's the first one I bought, Au Chocolat, because I wanted a brown. This is much redder than I had hoped but I still love it. A lot. Two coats were used :)

I'm Home

I forgot to tell you I was leaving, sorry! I went to a theatre festival for some fun with friends, I've been planning the trip since June, so it was great to go. Subtle konad is franken base and RBL Mismas with plate m60. That ridiculous photo of me doing something is actually the bag game, I'll talk more about it later (after the ski team retreat? that's in December but that's likely the next time I'll play). Oh, and the plays? You know, the reason FOR the theatre festival? FANTASTIC. Really, they were wonderful.

I really like flakies

Can we pretend this less blue? Okay? Thanks. It's RBL Mismas with Nfu Oh 51 layered over with SH Hidden Treasure over that. Really pretty! 51's red shimmer is visible under all those flashing flakies. If you have the polishes, try it, you won't be disappointed.

Pink Feathers

I always think of this design like a feather, I have no clue why :) This is RBL Smitten (FAVORITE pink EVER) with AA Peacock, which is fantastic for konading. This is, of course, plate m 78.



Now, for a quick konad story, entitled 'Why you should always order from OC Nailart'.

During all my parties and sleepovers I always konad my friends nails. I got my best friend hooked and she went out and bought her own set of plates. Earlier this year her friend fell seriously ill and was taken to the hospital for a couple of weeks. Twice or week or so, Shanna would go in to visit her friend and paint her nails. A little while into the extended hospital visit, Shanna ordered her friend some plates. In the notes section of the order form she wrote her friends story. When the box of goodies came, it had TONS of extras in it for her friend. I just think that that was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture on Kathleen's part. Both Shanna and her friend really appreciated it :)
