Quick Ulta Haul + Essence Hang Loose

All this for $6. I used a few coupons :)

This color (Essence Hang Loose) is stunning. Really, it's jelly like and delicate and perfect. I'm always impressed with Essence, their sheer pink is my Holy Grail french mani pink. Seriously, this is good stuff for under $2.
But, they have a habit of changing colors that are already out. Want to see what I mean?
Essence What Do U Think? use to be a coral creme. Now it's lighter, oranger, melon-y-er, and has gold shimmer. A substantial difference. But they're still calling it the same polish!(I have no clue why the picture is upside-down or how to fix it... I hate Blogger)

Mrs. Claus

I bought the ChG Merry Mint set from Sally's, it had Naughty and Nice, Mrs. Claus, and that yummy peppermint cuticle oil.
This is a VERY pink-red. Not pink pink, exactly, but more like an unsaturated red. Did that make sense? No? Oh well. It has pinkish glitter in it and goes on very sheer. I did two coats here, shoulda done three.
How do you all like that new extra zoomy thing I'm doing? It takes a few minutes extra but I think it really showcases the polish.

Previous mani (Forever 21 Turquoise) covered with Nfu-Oh 54. Just a little added dimension, not super noticeable but stunning all the same :)

Forever 21 Turquoise

This polish is AMAZING. A few shades of blue and green glitter all mixed up with a clear base. I used three coats, shoulda used four. It dries matte and sucks up top coat, even though it isn't bumpy I had to use three coats of Insta-Dri and it's not too shiney :/

Meet Me Under the Mistletoe

This is from Orly's winter collection, it's a green with a weak blue duochrome (only in the bottle) and micro-flakies (my term, flakies but really small). It's really, really pretty close up but just 'meh' from farther away. I really do think this has potential and I'll try it again when there's sun.

I'm just wonder why y'all have been checking 'Ugly' so often. Do you not like the colors? What would you rather see?
I'm curious because I actually really like some of these colors but, apparently, you don't.
I promise to have a real post with pictures of the rest of the RBLs I bought during the sale, that'll be posted tonight.

They're HERE!

My RBLs from the sale! In case you live under a rock, a little while ago Rescue Beauty Lounge (aka the best brand ever) had a 50% off sale. 50% off their $18 polishes. Yeah, it's still pricey, but the formula and the colors *le sigh*, all worth it.
So here's the first one I bought, Au Chocolat, because I wanted a brown. This is much redder than I had hoped but I still love it. A lot. Two coats were used :)

My Pretty Bag

This is my brand new-just-arrived-today cosmetics bag. It even has my name on it! The purchase of this bag actually includes two bags, a larger one with your choice of embroidery, and a smaller one that doesn't have the personalization. It is a black and white floral print, very striking, with red lettering and a pink lining. It's very girly, which I love, but in a subtle, not pink way. The larger one is the perfect size for carting polishes around and the smaller one easily fits all the products I use on a daily basis (mascara, chapstick, lipstick, foundation, powder). It's all zippered up so it's safe (another bag I have from a different company has a magnetic closure- talk about inconvient spillage!). My one complaint is that the wrist strap (which is included on both the large and small bags) isn't very sturdy looking, such a beautiful bag deserves an amazing strap! But, that's not a huge problem as the strap is not at all flimsy when used.
For $14 this is a really, really nice set of bags, for yourself or for a gift.

What I've been up to. Aside from seeing two plays today, three more tomorrow, and another the day after that before I myself preform. Um. Yeah. Theatre is eating my life away. Free time, what free time? I haven't seen more than 6 hours of sleep a night since... um... September?
Now, because I obviously am half-hallucinating.
