We've come quite a long way...

Remember when I had no followers, no page views except my own, 5 posts, and 20 bottles of nail polish. Well, here I am, 182 posts, 150 followers, and god-knows-how-many bottles later. I feel like all of you, each and every one of you, has been here through so many things in my life. Near the beginning of this blog, I was a cheerleader. My team went on strike (really long story), which turned out not to be a bad thing because they made me miserable anyway. After that drama, I joined ski team, an adventure for sure! I discovered new friends and a possible boy-toy (shhh, don't tell). I really enjoyed the sport as well as the group of people. To top this whole journey off, on Friday my grandfather died. This wasn't unexpected as he had been sick for a while. I don't know how I feel about it, I wasn't very close to him. Right now, I'm more worried for the living than the dead. Concluding all of this, I just had my first rehearsal for the new musical I am in. This thrills me because there is something so magical about a stage. You work for hours, days, weeks, months, putting a show together and sometimes it doesn't seem quite worth it. But, when the curtains open and the spotlight is on you, what's not to love? So, I guess I'm just trying to say, thank you. Thank you all so much. I really appreciate you.

  2. Sorry, hon.....we all deal with these thing in different ways. We lost a very close friend last week. We will all get along, and have to now concentrate on other tasks - good to know you have some really positive things to look forward to!

  3. My condolences for the passing of your Grandfather. When my Grandad died several years ago after his long battle with lung cancer, I was sad, but overall I was relieved. I love him so very much and it tore me apart to see him in so much pain.

I wish you much luck with your musical!
