This is from the CC French collection. It's an odd color, not a nude by any measure. I'd say that if this works on you, wear it! It's a weird pastel-y orange just sheer enough to give you VNL. I think it looked alright on me, nothing great. I striped Turn the Other Chic (from the same collection) over the corner of my nail.

Today's Haul
Okay, so today I went to Sally's (for the buy 2 get 1 free deal they are running). Uh oh. I bought ChG Heli-Yum, which is a bright raspberry creme. I absolutely adore it, it's not just another bright pink, as it has a touch of red. And, it's a one coater. Buy it. Buy it now *enables*.
Next, I picked up a new Finger Paints, Blissfully Blue. It's a real sky blue (albeit a smidge less aqua, maybe a bit lighter), also a creme, a pastel but not at all chalky. The formula was a dream, two perfect coats.
Lastly, I purchased a nude color Finger Paints, Blank Canvas Creme, because I can't wear color on show nights (which happen starting next Wednesday). It is a bit darker and pinker than my skin, kind of dusty too. In the bottle it looks like an 'old lady color' but on the nail I kind of like it! It's not super boring, and the formula is a dream. It's a great work/theatre polish.
And, also, it's spring time! Finally! And it's sunny and beautiful (a bit cold but whatever) and I have a new camera. See, look, there's flowers! What? Your not in my office and you can't actually look out my window to see them? Insanity! While, here they are so you can actually enjoy them as much as I do.

Water Marble week (I fail!)
Well... So much for that. The water marble fairy left me last night. Yeah. No. Not working. Well, OPI Here Today, Argon Tomorrow + CG Medallion made for a satisfied Allya. Well. Then. Then my Nfu Ohs came (oh? I didn't mention those? Well, I bought 51, 54, and 60). I couldn't resist. Forgive me? Here's my NOTD well as failures of pics for tomorrow.
*dies* This is 54 *dies again*
60. It looks really good in this pic. Better than it does in real life :(
51. I love this. Not in the bottle so much, but on the nail? SO yummy! Could we pretend this is purple? Cause it really is in real life!!! (layered over SH Purple Pizzazz)

I'm so sorry!
Okay, not like this is an excuse or anything BUT we open in 12 days and I've been doing homework and working and getting excited for vactaion (going to Japan) and trying to learn Japanese and attempting a no-buy and finding cool stuff at Ross (breaking said no-buy) and FORGIVE ME! Whew. Okay, I've been doing my nails as normal, and taking some pics so I do have some polish for you today.
$OPI It's Bouquet with Me. It's a stunning glitter polish, clear based with silver and purple glitter as well as some huge holo chunks. Took 4ish coats for opacity, though :(

200th post!!!!! Oh, and a haul!
Hiya! This post marks the 200th post on this blog. Wow. That's major! Today I bought a couple polishes, well, actually, today I bought five polishes. I bought $OPI Leaf Him at the Alter and It's Bouquet With Me, Hot Topic Bright Lavender(according to the website), OPI Hot & Spicy, and Icing Dark and Stormy. When I first saw the OPI Hong Kong collection, I fell in love with Jade is the New Black and Suzi Says Feng Shui. I didn't, however, like Hot & Spicy. In store, I loved Jade is the New Black, so I bought it. Today, Hot & Spicy mysteriously found it's way into my cart-thing in Trade Secret. Yeah, a pink-orange, it's unexpected love. The Icing I found 2 for $6, my friend and I split the deal, each one of us buying Dark and Stormy. The two $OPIs are stunning, 'nuff said. The Hot Topic looks amazing, like a pastely-bright purple. I love them all! Oh, and the big purchase for today? A Canon Powershot. My last camera was not great at full hand shots, this baby can handle it all. I wish it was more color-accurate and had better zoom, but oh well! I did swatch a couple of my new acquisitions. Here you all are!
The total haul:
The Icing, it's mesmerizing!
OPI Hot & Spicy, this is a tad less pink, but, still a good Ott-light shot (3 coats, and still a bit streaky, maybe I'm applying a bit too thin)
$OPI Leaf Him at the Alter. Loved this online, liked it in store, hated it at home, adored it on the nail. A medium-dark green with silver shimmer. I thought it'd be sheer, and I've never been so happy to be wrong!

Checking in
Hey! Okay, significant things are happening. Firstly, JCS goes on in less than two weeks, eek! I can't believe it, it's so surreal. I didn't even think I was going to get in, so to be singing a solo in such a short amount of time? And to be dancing the whole show center stage? Yeah, stressful! The good news is, I have so many friends who support me, it's been such a [stressful] pleasure to be a part of this production. Next, you can probably see the new layout, thoughts? Lastly, I've finally gotten around to posting on CC, which, for those of you who don't know, is my other blog. I'd really appreciate it if you could check it out, maybe follow. I don't have too many posts or readers right now, but I hope to keep updating it. I thought that it's kinda cool that you can see these different sides of me :). So, I guess I'll leave you all with some spam, a reward for reading this long-winded message :).
This is the beautiful Commander in Chic. I wasn't too impressed, but other people loved it! They couldn't pin it down, is it brown? Grey? with a bit of purple? Anyway, it's kinda cool looking, but totally not my color.
Zoe's Easter nails. We're Jewish. Still, these were fun.
Random Konad French tips (plate m80) with AA Peacock
SH Mint Sprint, a nice color, a bit dark. Konaded with a whole lot of white flowers and silver butterflies :)
