This is super pretty in the bottle, a sheer dark pink with gold and blue micro glitter, I mean, blue micro glitter, come on! But, on the nail it doesn't quite deliver. I layered this over an opaque nude just because I knew VNL was otherwise inevitable (plus I already had the nude on, bonus!). Yeah, it's pretty but it's not what I wanted :(. I think I will try it over black next, that would look nice. And, I don't say this often, but enlarge the pics, you have to see it super close up, so pretty! (OPI And This Little Piggy)
It is very pretty, but like you say quite sheer. I just got this in the mail from a swap I did. I haven't used it yet, but will remember your tip about layering it.
